My Hithergreen class came through the challenge with flying colors. I asked them several weeks ago to begin planning a painting to be completed in two hours on April 12. Many of them take several weeks to do paintings, spending a lot of class time sorting through pictures and drawing their subjects. I wanted them to see how it felt to be ready to paint when they walked into class. The group ranges from several beginners through intermediates and advanced students, but they all pitched in with a will. Some aren't quite finished, but don't need much to do the job. I'm really happy with the results and I think they had fun doing it. |
